Ladino's Amigo's Story

8-8-05

Hello,

Last May, I bought a very nice Half-Andalusian in Echo Bay, Ontario, Canada. That cute little horse arrived in my small village by coincidence (he has been traded twice - sad story -). When I heard there was an Andalusian around, I could not believe it. There is none around and the breed is not well known. But he was registered and his dad is Ladino T.G. I went on the internet and found him on your site.  I owned few horses and Ladino's Amigo is the best I ever had.

Amigo under saddle; After one month training.  Lise is riding with a happy bit.

Amigo with a friend of mine, Manon.  I had to promise her that she's going to be the first on my list if I'm selling him.

I still have Amigo. I love him to death. Let me tell you a little bit about him.

He turned three in April and I bought him in May. Everything went very quickly. My coach/trainer came to see him , rode him (never had a saddle on before) and told me that would be a great buy for me. You have to know that I am a nervous rider so I need a very safe and quiet horse. But Amigo has more. He is safe, quiet, nice mover, very friendly (people oriented), pretty, quick learner, smooth and more.

All the horses I owned were trained and showed by a professional. Amigo's training started two months ago. I rode him for the second time today. I have no words to describe how good he is. He is easy to ride and very smart. He understands everything and tries to do his best all the time.

I rode Amigo for the third time today. I cantered for the first time. He's an angel. I had so much fun. I never felt that good on a horse!

I'm sending you three pictures of Ladino's Amigo (this is his real full name registration). I'm looking for a good photographer so I'll send you more pictures. I took myself pictures of him but he was glued to me. He was following me everywhere!

I'm riding him Thursday for the fourth time. Because he is so young and on training (4 times a week), I don't want to ride him too much. But I go to the barn almost every day just to groom and play with him. Let me tell you that Amigo shines and smells good!

I know there is a breed called Azteca and because I always liked Quarter Horses I would be interested by this new breed. I want to sale my Warmblood first and then purchase an Azteca. Would you have any for sale?

Thank you very much!

New riders, new challenge.

Amigo and his proud owner, Lucie.

He has never seen or done a barrel before.  As a four year old, he did like a pro!

Back to serious work with Lise, the trainer.
